What Is Restore Upon Death?

On Markiii-Rust, you never lose your inventory when you die. When you respawn, everything you were carrying — weapons, armour, tools, resources, hotbar layout — is fully restored exactly as it was. No corpse runs, no looting your own body, no lost progress.

Our version goes further than the standard plugin. The Markiii-edited version also saves your inventory through alt+F4 disconnects, game crashes, and server restarts. If the server goes down unexpectedly or your game crashes while you're loaded with gear, it'll all be there when you reconnect.

🛡️ This is a PVE server — losing your entire loadout to a random crash or NPC death would be frustrating and unfair. Restore Upon Death removes that frustration entirely. Focus on playing, not worrying about your gear.

FAQ

A corpse may still appear, but your full inventory is restored to you on respawn regardless. You don't need to go back and loot your body — everything is already in your inventory when you wake up.
Yes — your items are restored to the exact same slots they were in, including hotbar positions, clothing slots, and belt items. You respawn ready to go with the same loadout.
Everything is preserved — weapon attachments, loaded ammo, item condition, custom names, skins, and EpicLoot enhancements. What you had is exactly what you get back.
