What Are Havoc Weapons?

Havoc Weapons are custom-skinned versions of vanilla Rust weapons that fire explosive projectiles instead of regular ammo. A Rocket Python fires rockets, an Incendiary Rocket Bow shoots incendiary rockets, an F1 Eoka launches frag grenades — you get the idea.

They cannot be bought in a shop. Instead, they must be crafted at the Havoc Forge using special components you earn from killing NPCs. Hold a Havoc weapon and type /havoc to toggle Havoc Mode on/off. When Havoc Mode is on, your weapon fires its special ammo; when off, it fires normally.

🔥 Havoc Weapons cannot be purchased. You must craft them at the Havoc Forge using reagents (barrels, strings) and catalysts (springs) looted from NPCs.

How To Get Them

You cannot buy Havoc Weapons. Here's how to craft them:

Step 1: Kill NPCs & Loot Components
Eliminate NPCs at various tiers to gather Havoc reagents (barrels, strings) and catalysts (springs). Different NPC tiers drop different-quality components.

Step 2: Open the Havoc Forge
Type /forge to open the Havoc Forge UI.

Step 3: Select Your Components
Choose your base weapon (Python, Bow, Waterpipe, etc.), the matching reagent, and optionally a catalyst for bonus effects. Craftable recipes auto-sort to the top of the list.

Step 4: Hit FORGE
Click the FORGE button to craft your Havoc Weapon. It appears in your inventory ready to use.

FAQ

Yes — you still need the base ammo (pistol ammo for revolvers/pythons, arrows for bows, handmade shells for waterpipe/eoka, 5.56 for minigun). The Havoc effect converts each shot into explosive projectiles. You don't consume extra ammo, the Havoc conversion just changes what comes out.
Yes — hold your Havoc weapon and type /havoc to toggle the mode. When off, the weapon fires normally with regular ammo. When on, it fires explosive projectiles.
That depends on your server's death settings (RestoreUponDeath plugin configuration). The Havoc weapon itself is a physical item in your inventory, so it follows normal death loot rules. Check with your server admin for the specific rules.
Same as a normal weapon — you need to reload. Havoc Mode doesn't consume extra ammo, it just converts what you fire into explosive projectiles. Once you're out, you're out.
There are 11 total variants across 6 base weapon types: 1 Revolver, 3 Pythons, 3 Bows, 2 Waterpipes, 1 Eoka, and 1 Minigun. Each variant fires different explosive ammo.
