What Are Havoc Tools?
Havoc Tools are custom-skinned gathering tools with a unique twist: when you finish gathering a resource, there's a 25% chance to proc a bonus effect that spawns extra resources nearby. Each tool has a different specialty. They cannot be bought — they drop from any NPC with a 2% chance.
The three tools are:
- Markiiis Hatchet (skinned Salvaged Axe) — When you chop down a tree, 25% chance to spawn 2 ore nodes nearby
- Markiiis Pickaxe (skinned Salvaged Icepick) — When you mine an ore node, 25% chance to spawn 2 trees nearby
- Markiiis Hammer (skinned Hammer) — One-shots any barrel, with a 25% chance to trigger a chain explosion that destroys all nearby barrels too
Havoc Tools cannot be purchased. They drop from any NPC corpse with a 2% chance — keep farming those NPCs!

The Three Tools
Each Havoc Tool has a unique specialty. Use the one that matches your gathering playstyle:
Markiiis Hatchet
Base item: Salvaged Axe
Ability: 25% chance to spawn 2 random ore nodes when you destroy a tree
Great for: Players who need ore but are chopping wood
Markiiis Pickaxe
Base item: Salvaged Icepick
Ability: 25% chance to spawn 2 random trees when you deplete an ore node
Great for: Miners who also need wood
Markiiis Hammer
Base item: Hammer
Ability: Instantly destroys any barrel in one hit. 25% chance to trigger a chain explosion that destroys all barrels within 5 metres
Great for: Speed-looting barrel fields at monuments and rad towns

How To Obtain
Havoc Tools drop from any NPC corpse with a 2% chance, regardless of the NPC's health tier. Every NPC you kill has a chance to drop any of the three tools. Keep fighting NPCs and you'll build up your collection. The more you kill, the more likely you are to find them all.
Unlike Havoc Forge components which require specific NPC tiers, Havoc Tools can drop from any NPC — even the weakest ones.

No! Havoc Tools have condition loss prevention built in. They stay at full condition forever.
A proc is when the tool's special effect triggers. You'll see a visual effect and a chat message when it happens.
No, each resource destroyed is an independent 25% roll. Having multiple tools doesn't increase your chances on a single resource.
They don't need repair — they never lose condition. If for some reason one does, the /havoctools command while holding it will show its stats.
Yes — spawned ore nodes and trees are real resources that give full gather amounts. They're not fake or temporary.
