Forge-crafted tiered armor with percentage damage reduction on ALL sources and damage bonus
Havoc Armor is a custom Markiii plugin adding a 3-piece armor set with 5 upgrade tiers. Each piece provides percentage-based damage reduction (defence) on ALL damage sources — NPC gunfire, turrets, animals, environmental damage, traps, fall damage, heat, cold, radiation, decay, everything.
Higher tiers also grant a damage bonus percentage, making you hit harder as you build your armor. The set is crafted and upgraded at the Havoc Forge using metal plates, cloth threads, springs, and Epic Scrap.
Each piece provides its own defence and damage bonus. Tier progression unlocks higher percentages at each upgrade level.

Step 1: Farm NPCs
Kill NPCs throughout the map to collect metal plates, cloth threads, and springs. Higher-tier NPCs drop better components.
Step 2: Open the Havoc Forge
Type /forge to open the Havoc Forge UI.
Step 3: Combine Base Armor + Components
Select a base armor piece (facemask, chestplate, or kilt) + metal plate + cloth thread + spring. Hit FORGE to craft your T1 Havoc armor piece.
Step 4: Upgrade with Epic Scrap & Threads
To upgrade a T1 piece to T2, place the armor in the Havoc Forge with the required Epic Scrap and threads. See the upgrade costs table below.
| Upgrade | Epic Scrap | Threads | Plates |
|---|---|---|---|
| T1 → T2 | 100 | 1 | — |
| T2 → T3 | 200 | 2 | — |
| T3 → T4 | 400 | 4 | — |
| T4 → T5 | 800 | 5 | — |
Defence is percentage-based. A defence stat of 10% means 10% of ALL incoming damage is reduced. This applies across every damage type: bullets from NPCs and players, turret fire, melee hits, animal attacks, fall damage, heat, cold, radiation, decay — everything.
Defence stacks per piece worn. If you wear the Havoc Chestplate (T5, 25% defence) and the Havoc Roadsign Kilt (T5, 15% defence), you get a combined 40% defence reduction. Wear all 3 pieces at T5 for the maximum 50% defence.
Maximum defence cap: 90% (configurable by your server admin; default on Markiii servers is 50% from the full T5 set). This prevents players from becoming completely unkillable.
Defence is applied on top of normal armor. Your Havoc defence reduction happens after vanilla Rust armor calculations, giving you an extra layer of protection on top of your standard protection values.
