What Is BGrade?

BGrade removes the tedious step of upgrading every single building block with your hammer. Instead, when you place a block with your building plan, it automatically upgrades to whatever grade you've chosen — wood, stone, metal, or armoured.

This means you can build an entire stone base by just placing twig pieces as normal. Each block is instantly upgraded the moment it hits the ground, using the required resources from your inventory. No hammer needed.

This is a massive time-saver, especially for large builds. Instead of placing twig → pulling out hammer → upgrading each piece, you just place and go. Build at full speed.

Building Grades

There are 4 upgrade grades you can choose from. Set your desired grade and every block you place will automatically be upgraded to that material.

1
Wood
/bgrade 1
Costs: Wood
2
Stone
/bgrade 2
Costs: Stones
3
Metal
/bgrade 3
Costs: Metal Fragments
4
Armoured
/bgrade 4
Costs: HQM
⚠️ Resources are consumed! BGrade still uses the normal upgrade cost from your inventory. If you run out of materials mid-build, the block will stay as twig until you upgrade it manually.

How to Use It

📋 Quick Workflow
1 Pick your grade — type /bgrade 2 for stone, /bgrade 3 for metal, etc.
2 Equip your building plan and start placing blocks as normal
3 Each block is automatically upgraded to your chosen grade on placement
4 BGrade auto-disables after 30 seconds of not placing. Or type /bgrade 0 to turn it off manually
💡 The auto-disable timer prevents you from accidentally burning through expensive resources. If you stop building for 30 seconds, BGrade switches off and you'll get a chat message saying it's been disabled.

Commands

Chat Commands
/ bgrade 0
Disable BGrade — blocks will place as twig again (normal behaviour).
/ bgrade 1
Auto-upgrade to Wood on placement.
/ bgrade 2
Auto-upgrade to Stone on placement.
/ bgrade 3
Auto-upgrade to Metal on placement.
/ bgrade 4
Auto-upgrade to Armoured on placement.
/ bgrade t 60
Set the auto-disable timer to 60 seconds (max 180 seconds). After this many seconds of not placing, BGrade turns itself off.

You can also use /grade as a shorthand — it does the same thing as /bgrade.

Tips & FAQ

If you run out of the required material, the block will simply stay as twig. You'll get a chat message saying you don't have enough resources. You can then upgrade it manually with a hammer later, or gather more materials and keep building.
Yes — foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, stairs, roofs, doorways, window frames, and any other building block that can be upgraded will be auto-upgraded when placed.
BGrade has an auto-disable timer (30 seconds by default). If you pause building for too long, it turns itself off to prevent accidental resource waste. Just type your /bgrade command again to re-enable it. You can also extend the timer up to 180 seconds with /bgrade t 180.
Yes! That's the beauty of BGrade. Type /bgrade 4 and every block you place will jump straight from twig to armoured. You'll need HQM in your inventory, but it skips all the intermediate upgrades.
Yes — if a block is destroyed or can't be placed (e.g. building blocked), the resources that were consumed for the upgrade are refunded back to your inventory.
The plugin can apply a cooldown on auto-upgrading if you've recently been involved in combat. If you find BGrade temporarily unavailable after a fight, wait 30 seconds and try again.
